This hotel has been updated and everything was perfect! It was clean and decorated nicely. I stayed on the 4th floor facing the highway and the noise level was quiet with windows shut. Bed very comfortable, full kitchen with a full stove and oven. I found all the staff very polite and friendly. My only disappointment was no hot tub but since Covid most hotels are eliminated. Breakfast usual Cisco or Sysco food .

I want to say this hotel is more then just a hotel. My fiance and I stayed here for a business trip and Evan was amazing. He was so accompanying to all our needs. He needs a raise!! Thank you for your friendliness and giving us what we needed!! Will definitely stay here again. What a great employee you have.

Loud ventilation and awkward room layout

How this hotel ever got an occupancy certificate is beyond me. I requested a quiet room and the clerk put me into a room on the top floor next to the highway. The ventilation noise and associated vibration makes one feel like one is on an airport runway. I am usually oblivious to noise but this is above and beyond my powers. The queen bed suite has an awkward layout—one has to move multiple pieces of furniture to unfold the sofa and the quality of the sofa/rollaway mattresses and bedding leaves to be desired. The hotel whirlpool is covered with tile and the indoor pool has caution tape on the ladder to get in. Unlike some other reviewers we did not get charged for parking. Instead we got to put up with the inconvenience of the front parking lot being torn up and no way of getting into the lobby without parking in the back and walking all the way around the building which might be a problem for someone with mobility limitations. The only somewhat bright spot in our stay was the breakfast: they had the basic selection of cereal, fresh fruit, etc. This hotel is too new to be as bad as it is—-it might be my worst stay in 10 years.

Check in was fine. My Titanium for Life status was recognized by the gentleman at the desk. Some places don’t do that any more so this was good. Service was eh. Asked for extra towels during the check in on the app. No extra towels. So I called and asked for an extra pillow and 3 extra towels and got 2 sheets instead. Breakfast, most things were in short supply, waffle batter, eggs, forks, etc. many were waiting. The trash can was also over full with used plates and utensils piled up above the rim. Also be prepared to pay $10 per night for parking. I’ve stayed at least 60 nights at other Residence Inns this year alone and haven’t paid anywhere else. Next time through, I’d probably look elsewhere

On 3/26/2022 I stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn in Holtsville, NY. Before arrival my sister called and spoke with Gio Guilfucci to request a credit authorization form so she could put her credit card down as payment for my stay. Gio was so friendly and provided very prompt service, when I arrived I was greeted with a smile and the whole check in process was such a pleasure. I felt very welcomed and attended to, I would definitely recommend this hotel just on the customer service alone. I look forward to booking again 😊. Thank you again Gio and Marriott for the wonderful stay!!!
